Top SP: Gerrit Cole ($10,300 DK, $11,200 FD) vs BAL

Gerrit Cole has been so dominant since 2018 that somehow a 32.9% K rate and a 6.6% walk rate translates to a down year for him. Of course, Cole should still be treated as an elite DFS option, as you won’t be finding that many strikeouts anywhere else. In his last time out against the Orioles, Cole struck out 10 batters in six innings with just one earned run. Fade The Noise projections have Cole as their top starter by a wide margin, and he is someone to look for in both GPP tournament and cash games.

Honorable Mentions: Sonny Gray, CIN ($9,600 DK, $10,100 FD) at CHC.

Value SP: Dustin May ($8,800 DK, $7,600 FD) at ARI

May is a high-floor option to consider as a cheap starter in cash games against the weak Diamondbacks lineup. Arizona has just a .304 wOBA against right-handed pitching and they are now without Ketel Marte, who was placed on the injured list. May is virtually unplayable in GPPs due to his lack of strikeouts, but he is among the safest options on the slate against the D-Backs offense.

1B Rhys Hoskins ($4,300 DK, $3,900 FD) at MIA

Hoskins is among the hottest hitters in the league right now, batting .308 with seven homers over the last two weeks. He’s got career highs in walk rate (17.5%) and OBP (.410), so he is a reliable bet to get on base and score runs as the Phillies two-hitter. Hoskins gets a good matchup against Sandy Alcantara, who is outperforming his 4.92 FIP by over a run. A .214 BABIP and a 10% walk rate for Alcantara are a combination that put Hoskins and the Phillies in a spot for a high-scoring game.

Honorable Mentions: Eugenio Suarez, 3B ($4,600 DK, $3,500 FD) at CHC.

OF Trent Grisham ($4,800 DK, $3,100 FD) vs SF

Grisham has been an electric fantasy option with eight homers, six steals, and an .828 OPS. He can score points in many different ways, and batting leadoff in the stacked Padres lineup gives him even more value. The Giants are starting Trevor Cahill tonight, who has a 4.90 SIERA. Grisham can be considered in all formats for his combo of floor and upside.

Honorable Mentions: J.D. Martinez, OF ($4,400 DK, $3,100 FD) at TB; Starling Marte, OF ($4,900 DK, $2,900 FD) vs PHI.

Value Batter: OF Randy Arozarena ($3,200 DK, $2,800 FD) vs BOS

Arozarena is off to an incredible start to his big league career, batting .421 with four homers and a steal. It’s only a matter of time before his price catches up to his production, so get him while he’s still so cheap. Arozarena has been batting second or third for the Rays, which is a great spot against the Red Sox abysmal pitching staff.

Honorable Mentions: Brandon Belt, 1B ($3,300 DK, $3,200 FD) at SD.

Lineup Stack: Yankees vs Orioles (LHP Keegan Akin)

The Yankees have one of the highest implied run totals on the slate according to Vegas, and they’ve got many affordable hitters to stack with. Gary Sanchez, Gleyber Torres, Luke Voit, and Clint Frazier are the top batters to target as the Yanks face rookie Keegan Akin, who only has 13 major league innings under his belt and is susceptible to getting rocked.

Honorable Mentions: Dodgers at Diamondbacks (Bumgarner); Rays vs Red Sox (Kickham).
