Chaz Roe’s Slider – Roe has been a staple on these posts all season – and for good reason (pardon the rhyme). Check out how far this pitch runs off the plate, catching poor Khris Davis way off guard as he flails away for dear life.

Charlie Morton’s Curveball – Morton struck out seven in his quality start against the Diamondbacks on Saturday. Here he used his wicked curveball to paint the outside corner and get an ugly hack from Alex Avila for strike three.

Daniel Zamora’s Slider – Zamora struck out four of the five Red Sox hitters that he faced on Saturday, using his sharp slider to get big whiffs from even the best Red Sox hitters.

German Marquez’s Changeup – Marquez’s streak of excellent starts ended on Saturday, although he still managed to post a quality start with four strikeouts and just one walk. Here he forced his changeup to drop straight off the table to generate a nice swing and a miss.

Max Fried’s Curveball – Low and in is not usually a place you want to pitch a left-handed hitter, but Fried absolutely fries Bryce Harper with this bender that paints the low and in corner for strike three.

Yonny Chirinos‘ Sinker – Man I love Chirinos’ sinker. Here he pumped this thing down and in on poor Ramon Laureano. 95 with that kind of movement? Forget about it.

Mike Clevinger’s Slider – While Saturday’s 15-0 drubbing of the Tigers was mostly about Cleveland’s offense, it was pitches like this one to poor James McCann that reminded fans that Cleveland, and particularly Clevinger, can pitch too.
