Top 100 Relievers to Own in Save+Hold Leagues: 6/29 Update

Rick Graham's weekly update of the Top 100 Relievers to own in SV+HLDs leagues.

[sv_hlds_list list_id=”22671″ include_stats=”1″ season=”2018″]

Following up on our weekly Closers and Holds articles will be our Top 100 RP’s for SV+HD leagues every Friday. Use this list to get a feel for the current reliever market and to gauge value for trades, waiver adds, etc. Keep in mind, holds are much more volatile and harder to predict. We’ve only seen one season from a pitcher with more than 30 holds since 2016, while 26 closers have gone over 30 saves in that same timeframe.

NOTES

  • Brandon Morrow rejoined the list following a brief DL stint and we had 7 other new names to the list this week in Sergio Romo, Tyler Clippard, Jacob Barnes, Heath Hembree, Juan Minaya, Oliver Perez and Wily Peralta.
  • We lost a total of 8 relievers this week Arodys Vizcaino (DL), Josh Fields (DL), Edubray Ramos (DL),  Jake McGee, Brad Brach, Justin Miller, Justin Anderson and Sammy Solis.
  • Raisel Iglesias and Blake Treinen were the only relievers with 4 SV+HD’s this week, while ten others had 3. Iglesias has been much better as of late and should be one of the more coveted relievers around July 31st.

Is Hector Neris not top 100 anymore?

    • Rick Graham says:

No use to hold on anymore in re-draft leagues. Only reason he’s on the MLB roster rught now is due to the rash of injuries their bullpen has been dealing with.

  2. Doug says:

Where would you put Carl Edwards Jr. when he returns?
