Jose Berrios’ Curveball – This pitch was so nasty that Twins catcher Mitch Garver was unable to handle it, allowing Neil Walker to reach base safely. While Walker is certainly glad to be on base, I’m sure he’s happier to not have to see that curveball anymore.

Jordan Hicks‘ Slider – He may not be at the level of Chaz Roe or Adam Ottavino, but it sure feels like every time Hicks pitches he finds his way onto our list. And for good reason, as seen by this slider that darts right onto the inside corner of the plate.

Joe Kelly’s Curveball – Joe Kelly brought his toy yo-yo with him to the game on Tuesday, unleashing it on Toronto center fielder Kevin Pillar, who could only muster a half swing before picking up a strike.

Jeremy Jeffress‘ Fastball – Jeffress welcomed Alex Gordon back from the disabled list in a pretty rude fashion, fanning him with this runny 95 mile per hour cheese that painted the outside black. Brutal hello.

Rick Porcello’s Changeup – A pair of former teammates on the Tigers squared off on Tuesday, with Porcello fanning Curtis Granderson on this late-breaking changeup down below the zone. Nasty.

Charlie Morton’s Curveball – At this point it feels like one could just pick any pitch Morton throws and toss it onto this page. The man has been dealing nothing but filth lately, and even though he got tagged for a few home runs on Tuesday he still managed to throw deuces like this one to stump Kole Calhoun on the back corner.

Edwin Diaz’s Slider – Diaz continued his dominant run to start the 2018 campaign, here using a wicked 90 mile per hour slider to fan Yoan Moncada and secure another Mariners’ victory. Fitting it comes in at the end of our list.
