Every morning we review the five best pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the “GIF of the Week”. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Sergio Romo’s Slider – We haven’t featured much Romo this year, but he still has his signature frisbee slider. He ended last night’s game with a luscious slide piece to Jean Segura that darted well off the plate. (Thanks to @iSas03 for the tip!)

Edinson Volquez’s Changeup – The camera angle makes this pitch look worse than it is, but Volquez changed speeds effectively, while generating some solid fade as he struck out Brandon Moss with this well located Changeup Monday night.

Chris Heston’s Fastball – You can always count on Heston to feature some excellent surprise Fastballs every night he’s on the hill. The best one from his effort against the Brewers came in fourth when he snuck this back-door Sinker past Carlos Gomez for the backwards K.

Robbie Ray’s Slider – Ray had his second eight strikeout performance in three games, and he was spotting his pitches all night long. This Slider down and away to Brad Miller was super pretty as it earned the punchout.

Kevin Gausman’s Fastball – Sometimes you just want to see 97 MPH heat right on the black. Gausman indulged us with this well painted Fastball to strikeout Eury Perez in the eighth inning.
