Every weekend here at Pitcher List, I review all expected starting pitcher matchups for the week ahead. There are three labels: StartMaybe, and Sit. Outings marked with a Maybe are circumstantial and dependent on your needs in a 12-teamer, while the other two are self-explanatory. Feel free to question my designations in the comments and we’ll dive into it together.

Note: This week will see trades at the deadline that will change some rotations. Keep this in mind as this table will not be updated through the week.

Here’s the massive table containing every Week 19 start from 8/7 – 8/13:

Can we confidently pump the brakes on Manea? His two start week, v SF @LAA looked cherry. Didn’t get out of the 4th inning either time. Innings starting to wear on him I’m afraid?

In a 12-team, H2H points league, who would you be more willing to start this week (and ROS, if that makes a huge difference): Jon Gray @ MIA, or Reynaldo Lopez vs. KC (if he does indeed get the call-up)? Leaning Gray, as I feel he is safer, but not sure if the upside of Lopez changes everything. Thanks!

On Thursday, the Ocean County Register reported that “no rehab assignment is scheduled yet for right-hander Brandon McCarthy, according to Roberts,” which sounds like a 5-man for at least another week. If so, is Maeda a “start” against SD on 13 Aug?

Best content on the internet right here. This article and the two start pitchers article! Bravo fellas! Fantastic!

You don’t like anyone vs the Mets this week? Cashner, Griffin or Velasquez?

Surprised to see Manaea given the Start designation here. His FIP/xFIP are suspiciously on the high side possibly implying some past luck and future regression or should I say that regression has already come albeit some poorly timed defensive hiccups but regressed nonetheless. Anyway if Manaea couldn’t get the job done vs the LAA who are dead last vs lefties for the season then perhaps he’s hit a wall or teams have simply figured him out…idk. Droppable in most formats would you say?
