Luis Castillo’s Changeup – Maikel Franco had zero chance on this one.  Castillo rode this changeup beautifully right in on Franco who was unable to check his swing.  This pitch wasn’t even a strike but with that movement it didn’t need to be.

Zack Wheeler’s Slider – The beauty of this pitch is that is was never going to be a strike.  Wheeler threw 20 slider and got whiffs on 8 of them.

James Paxton’s Cutter – Paxton’s cutter had huge movement, starting over the plate and ended up unhittable for Escobar.

James Shields‘ Curveball – It’s okay.  Most people would buckle like that after this gorgeous curve.  Shields start this one right over the heart of the plate and then the ball is like “just kidding – Imma dive into the dirt off the inside corner”.  Excellent.

Raisel Iglesias‘ Changeup – Iglesias has brilliant late movement on this changeup – down and away to generate a swing and miss.  Filthy.

Danny Duffy’s Curveball – Taylor Motter had no idea what to do with this bender that went diagonal across the plate form a ball to a ball, but Motter was unable to check his swing.

Josh Hader’s Slider – Hader’s big slider broke what looked like several feet, forcing a lazy attempt at a swing.

Hector Neris’ Splitter – Neris’ strikeout to end the ninth was just plain ridiculous.  Nose to toes on this splitter – a great way to head to extra innings.
