Roberto Osuna’s Fastball – Today is a day of Fastballs and relievers, and leading the way is Osuna with this pitcher’s pitch at the knees to Aaron Altherr. (Thanks to Reddit user ApocAngel87 for the tip!)
Justin Grimm’s Curveball – A couple things to note here. First, this pitch has incredible drop for a hard 85 MPH Curve. Second, he made Miguel Cabrera flinch on a called strike, which few are able to do. Finally, he made Miggy flinch on a pitch that ended low and away. Beautiful. (Thanks to Reddit user cgoods94 for the tip!)
Raisel Iglesias’ Fastball – Iglesias’ comeback Fastball has been featured here before, and it’s hard to turn it away as it rides from the opposite batter’s box well across the plate.
Sergio Romo’s Slider – Romo has always had a fun Frisbee slider, and he made Peter Bourjos head back to the dugout on this classic pitch. It’s hard not to enjoy Sergio’s joy afterward.
Eduardo Rodriguez’s Fastball – Erod has a fantastic evening, and started it on the right foot by striking out his first batter of the day nailing 96 MPH on the low outside corner. Doesn’t get much better than this.
Kelvin Herrera’s Fastball – Well, Herrera’s 98 MPH heater may have something to say to Erod. Just watch him spot his 3-2 Fastball on the black to strike out Eugenio Suarez.
