Every morning we review the nastiest pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the GIF of the First Half. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Jeremy Jeffress‘ Curveball – It’s always fun to see pitchers show their emotion, and after Jeffress sealed the victory with this great hook to Corey Seager, he gave us a show. He deserved it.

Bartolo Colon’s Fastball – You can often count on The Big Apple to give us some sweet riding Fastballs in any game he starts, and he didn’t disappoint in his easy victory against the Pirates. Check out this offering that froze Gregory Polanco on the inside corner. (Thanks to Redditor see_mohn for the tip!)

Aaron Nola’s Curveball – Nola had a rough outing with the Blue Jays on his home turf, though he still accrued five strikeouts in his limited time on the hill. He fanned Jose Bautista twice during the game, including making the slugger buckle on this full count Curveball.

CC Sabathia’s Slider – There hasn’t been a hotter pitcher in baseball with CC allowing just 4 ER total in his last seven starts. He continued the trend in Minnesota using his Slider and Cutter to debilitate Twins batters, like stunning Byron Buxton with this luscious backdoor Slider.

Justin Verlander’s Curveball – Despite allowing 4 ER to the Royals on Thursday, Verlander still looked solid on the bump for the Tigers. He got earned the first of his seven strikeouts with this excellent hook that falls right along the outside corner.
