Every morning we review the five best pitches from the previous day’s playoff games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and check back when we review the best pitches for the divisional series next week. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

David Price’s Slider – There were some rocky moments for Price in his playoff debut for the Jays, but he sure made Josh Hamilton look silly as he slipped this Slider past him for strike three. (Thanks to @Danek54 for the tip!)

Kelvin Herrera’s Fastball – Sometimes you just want to see pure heat on the black. Herrera reached back and hurled triple digits to whiff George Springer in the 7th inning Thursday night.

Sam Dyson’s Sinker – Unless you were a Ranger fan, you probably didn’t know about Dyson before last night. Troy Tulowitzki sure knows all him after Dyson threw this nasty Sinker that never stops diving down as it rode across the plate. (Thanks to Reddit user tallrangerfan for the the tip!)

Aaron Sanchez’s Fastball – Sanchez has one of the most lively Fastballs in the game, and he painted this 98 MPH heater on the black as it returned to the plate against Elvis Andrus. (Thanks to @michaeldryden for the tip!)

Jake Diekman’s Slider – Diekman’s Chris Sale-esque motion allows him to generate a bunch of movement on his Slider, and Russell Martin wasn’t ready for this bender that traveled 11 MPH slower than his previous 99 MPH Fastball.
