Every morning we review the nastiest pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the GIF of the First Half. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Colin Rea’s Fastball – Rea had himself a night, going 6.2 innings of no-hit ball against the Mets.  He had some excellent pitches to get him there, including this wicked Fastball that stunned Alejandro De Aza(Thanks to Redditor crimsontideftw24 for the tip!)

Justin Grimm’s Curveball – It was only a matter of time before we featured a Grimm hook and this one to Jayson Werth was a beauty.  The bearded wonder didn’t even come close and who doesn’t love a batter showing frustration?  (Thanks to @fawkes_mulder @matt_wells16 & @mikequinn_ for the tip!)

Zach Britton’s Fastball – Britton is known for the crazy good movement on his Sinker but this one in particular to strike out Carlos Beltran was absurd.  The ball traveled across the entire plate, nearly hitting Beltran’s hip as he earned the whiff.

Wade Miley’s Curveball – We may feature a decent amount of Carlos Gomez antics (hey, it’s been a while!), but this pitch deserves a spot on the roundup on its own with excellent break down and out of the strikezone to induce the K.

Kevin Gausman’s Changeup – Gaus has been on fire since returning from the DL and went eight scoreless against the Yankees Thursday night.  He had a good feel for his Split-Changeup, which silenced Aaron Hicks for the second out of the eighth.
