Every morning we review the nastiest pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the GIF of the First Half. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Congrats to Noah Syndergaard’s Curveball for winning GIF of the Week!  It was a bit closer than I anticipated, but a 95 MPH Slider is simply unheard of.

Clayton Kershaw’s Curveball – Despite serving up a moonshot to Madison BumgarnerKershaw looked dominant against the Giants, allowing just 2 ER in eight frames.  Brandon Belt sure hasn’t missed the ace southpaw as he watch this hook go from his head to knees.

Felix Hernandez’s Changeup – The King fanned ten Athletics in Sunday’s undeserved Loss, featuring his best stuff of the short season.  This Changeup was vintage Felix, collecting his final out of the night.

Bartolo Colon’s Fastball – The Mets couldn’t escape with a Win against the Phils on Saturday evening, but it wasn’t at fault of the The Big Apple.  Colon did his part with his signature Two-Seamer Fastball, and it’s hard not to love the movement it gets here to sneak back over the plate.

Jeremy Hellickson’s Curveball – It was one of Hellickson’s better performances in New York on Sunday, and he made Ron Darling emit a few awkward noises as he froze Michael Conforto with this beautiful hook to end the second. (Thanks to Reddit user /u/Ryuuken1789 for the tip!)

R.A. Dickey’s Knuckleball – Dickey’s knuckler was in full effect in Toronto and he threw plenty that deserved a spot on today’s list.  The way this pitch darted at the very last minute out of the zone was astounding, earning it top honors as it struck out Mookie Betts

Taijuan Walker’s Splitter – Walker’s Split isn’t featured here often, and there may not be a more deserving one thrown all season.  How it gets this much horizontal break is anyone’s guess.
