Every morning we review the five best pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the “GIF of the Week”. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Chris Rusin’s Slider – The Giants haven’t seen a bullpen in three games after Rusin followed up Kershaw’s masterpiece with a complete game of his own. He collected 5 Ks along the way including this sweet back-foot Slider to Angel Pagan.

Taylor Jungmann’s Curveball – Jungmann has quietly been one of the best rookie pitchers around and he reinforced his legacy with a solid effort against the Pirates last night. He dropped this deuce in the first to Starling Martle and it was pretty to watch it fall to the bottom of the zone for the strikeout.

Wade Davis‘ Fastball – It wasn’t the typical high-leverage situation that Davis is used to, but he still got the job done as the Royals cleaned up against the Tigers. Here Davis paints the outside corner with a blistering 97 MPH to fan Anthony Gose.

Radhames Liz’s Slider – Liz doesn’t get many chances to make this list, but he threw this solid Slider down and away to get a flailing Ryan Braun, making him mutter to himself as he walked back to the dugout.

David Robertson’s Fastball – The ChiSox took home a victory in Minnesota last night with Robertson sealing the victory per usual. He induced a rare weak swing from Eduardo Escobar on this sinking Fastball for the second out of the ninth.
