Every morning we review the five best pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the GIF of the Week. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Yordano Ventura’s Fastball – Ventura was perfect through the first five innings, and he looked as dominant as ever as he carved up the Cubs’ lineup. His Fastball command was fantastic, just look at this excellent running Fastball to freeze Dexter Fowler to end the 6th inning.

Lance McCullers’ Curveball – At 84.2 MPH, McCullers has a hard and heavy Curveball that easily misses bats. Check it out as Mark Trumbo doesn’t come close to connecting on this hook.

Kyle Hendricks‘ Sinker – It was one of the best outings of the season for Hendricks, and it should come to no surprise when his Sinker was moving like this. Crazy movement.

Marco Estrada’s Cutter – It might not look very pretty, but the pitch starts off the plate and slides back into the strikezone to earn the backwards K against Ryan Flaherty.

Eduardo Rodriguez’s Fastball – Sometimes you just want to see pitchers throw some GAS on the black. Eduardo’s got you covered today as he blew this 95 MPH Fastball past Chase Headley.
