Today I elected to try something new. I sat down for 30 minutes to watch Masahiro Tanaka’s first inning and detailed everything I saw as the disaster unfolded before us.
I broke down every single pitch Tanaka threw in that inning, outlining his decisions, his executions, what went wrong, and what went right.
Enjoy this dive into the mind of a pitcher during the worst start of his career.
Note: I will lower the MLB.tv audio moving forward, sorry about that.
Thanks, Nick! That was fascinating! A little painful if you’re a Yankee fan, as i am, to watch it again, but worth every minute. Yes… please consider doing this again. Great stuff!!
Thanks John!
That was amazing, I’d watch every single one you make.
Thanks Joe! I’m thinking there will be plenty more :)
This is awesome content, thank you for doing this.
