Top 100 Relievers to Own in Save+Hold Leagues: 9/7 Update

Rick Graham's weekly update of the Top 100 Relievers to own in SV+HLDs leagues.

[sv_hlds_list list_id=”24938″ include_stats=”1″ season=”2018″]

Following up on our weekly Closers and Holds articles will be our Top 100 RP’s for SV+HD leagues every Friday. Use this list to get a feel for the current reliever market and to gauge value for trades, waiver adds, etc. Keep in mind, holds are much more volatile and harder to predict. We’ve only seen one season from a pitcher with more than 30 holds since 2016, while 26 closers have gone over 30 saves in that same timeframe.

  1. Jim says:

    Minter last 30, 5.63 ERA, 1.63 WHIP, 3 SV+H, 0 W
With Viz possibly coming back, addition of Brach, resurgence of Winkler, not sure owners can rely on Minter. There are at least a dozen guys below him more valuable down the stretch for SV+H.

  2. Rick Graham says:

He may be a tad high here but Winklers been a mess lately as well and Brach is what he is. Also, not expecting much if anything from Vizcaino next week. Maybe he is back closing by the time the fantasy playoffs are over but that’s still a stretch. Minters talented enough to right the ship here and put together a good September for a Braves team that needs him.

  3. Jeff says:

Nothing doing with Corey Knebel? I’m rostering him but not sure if I should.

    • Rick Graham says:

It was a promising week for him but still skeptical he will see any high leverage situations the rest of the month. Only worth holding onto in dynasty formats right now.
