Following up on our weekly Closers and Holds articles will be our Top 100 RP’s for SV+HD leagues every Friday. Use this list to get a feel for the current reliever market and to gauge value for trades, waiver adds, etc. Keep in mind, holds are much more volatile and harder to predict. We’ve only seen one season from a pitcher with more than 30 holds since 2016, while 26 closers have gone over 30 saves in that same timeframe.
NOTES
- Corey Knebel and Keynan Middleton, both fresh of their DL stints, worked in a set-up role last night for their respective teams. It’s likely just a case of their managers wanting to ease them into the closers spot after a long layoff and nothing to be concerned of.
- Brad Brach and Tyler Clippard are new additions to the closer ranks since Tuesday morning and have been moved up the list. Neither are exactly must adds at this time, especially Clippard who could be locked in to a committee.
- Four Philly relievers tied for the most SV+HD this week with 3 each (Tommy Hunter, Hector Neris, Luis Garcia and Edubray Ramos), while Wade Davis, Brad Hand and Archie Bradley also had 3.

I’d only stash if you have a N/A spot available. It’s sounding more and more like this will last into August/September, with a real shot at him not pitching again this season depending on what happens in court. In a 10 team redraft, you should be able to find a suitable replacement.

Sometimes a guy is just too good to only include one time
Love the site and the weekly ranking articles. I have an Archie Bradley question. I own him and noticed that he has not struck out any hitters in his last four appearances and has only 1 K in May (on May 1). His only swinging strike this month was also on May 1. Up to May 1, he had at least one SS in all but 1 outing. His velocity looks fine but do you see anything else in his profile that has changed?
Nothing has been that different for him between this season and last. His velocity is down a tick and he is throwing his fastball slightly more, so that may be the reason for the decrease in missed bats. He just really isn’t a big strikeout guy but more of an innings eater who doesn’t get hit hard and induces groundballs. I’d still bet he finishes the season with a 1 K per inning pace.
I have Giles and Devenski in a Save+Hold League. Peacock is on the waiver wire. Would you pick him up and have 3 relievers from the same team?

I recently acquired Jansen in a deal to package him with Corbin for Strasburg. I still have Vasquez, Doolittle, Knebel and Allen and my SP’s post trade are Kluber, Severino, Thor, Pax, Bauer and Strasburg. Do you like this deal? Was a little hesitant making Jansen a part of the deal.
