Notes
- We have five new additions this week, which include Richard Rodriguez, Drew Pomeranz, Shawn Kelley, Scott Barlow, and Jose Cisnero. Pomeranz and Cisnero were both able to pick up three holds each this week, which certainly puts them on the radar in holds leagues.
- Leaving the list are Craig Kimbrel, Cam Bedrosian, Reyes Moronta, Matt Albers, and Trey Wingenter. Kimbrel is back on the IL again with elbow inflammation, and while there’s no structural damage, I think it’s fair to wonder if he will be his normal self at any point this season if/when he returns.
- We had a whopping nine pitchers this week pick up three SV+HLDs: Archie Bradley, Cisnero, Shane Greene, Ian Kennedy, Pomeranz, Seth Lugo, Emilio Pagan, Chaz Roe, and Taylor Rogers. Bradley now has six saves over the past two weeks; however, this week was a bit shaky as he allowed four hits and four walks over 2.2 innings.
I know this is the wrong article to ask this, but since you just posted it I’m hoping it might bring quicker attention to it.
For saves would you take Ian Kennedy over Hector Neris? Ian has been on fire lately. While Hector hasn’t gotten a save in the previous 2 weeks. I know the overall stats say Hector is the better pick, but what do you think about this week and the playoffs? Which team might be in a better position to get more save ops? Ian plays Miami rest of the week then has CWS. While Hector has the Mets then Atl.
Of course I tout Pomeranz and then thanks me hours later by giving up a grand slam to a fellow lefty in Schwarber!! Thankfully didn’t ruin my H2H matchup, but still….
