- Carlos Hernández should see the majority of save chances for the Royals now that Scott Barlow is out of the picture. The former starter turned reliever has been fantastic this season, with a 1.00 WHIP and 30.1% K rate, and should be rostered in most formats.
- Similarly, Gregory Santos has next to no competition for saves the rest of the way, with the unfortunate news that Liam Hendriks needs Tommy John surgery and will be out through 2024. Despite only a 23.1% K rate, Santos has posted a 32.4% CSW and 5.33 PLV so there’s more upside here.
