Jeurys Familia’s Sinker – I could have an article just of Familia pitches, as he has some of the nastiest stuff of any reliever in the bigs. Just watch this 0-1 Sinker at 97 MPH to Jorge Soler that had a bigger drop than a Skrillex track.

Kris Medlen’s Curveball – His second pitch after entering Game 3 was this big hook to Ryan Goins who couldn’t handle the big drop from the 78 MPH Curveball.

Cliff Pennington’s Fastball – Game four was a blowout in favor of the Royals in Toronto, giving Pennington the opportunity to be the first position player to pitch in a postseason game. He impressed his teammates as he came out of the gates with this 91 MPH Fastball that featured movement back to the plate.

Noah Syndergaard’s Fastball – Thor took the hill for the Mets Sunday night and didn’t disappoint across 5.2 innings as he struck out 9 Cubs en route to a New York victory. Watch him stun Miguel Montero with this 99 MPH heater with more movement than should be legal at that velocity.

Wade Davis‘ Curveball – He made it more dramatic than he would have liked in the ninth, but Davis was still able to shut the door on the Blue Jays and send his Royals to the World Series. He struck out Ben Revere for the second out in the final frame with this nasty Curveball down-and-in.

Jake Arrieta’s Changeup – It wasn’t Jake’s best after allowing 3 ER from the first three batters he faced, but he settled down to keep Chicago in the game. In his final pitch of the evening, Arrieta got some revenge on Daniel Murphy, painting the inside corner with this pretty Changeup.

Steven Matz’s Curveball – Matz did his part in the Mets’ clincher as he allowed just one earned run in 4.2 innings Wednesday evening. He threw some excellent pitches, including this Curveball to Starlin Castro that struck him out despite hitting the Cubs middle infielder in the foot. (Thanks to Reddit user Dr****MD for the tip!)
