Every morning we review the nastiest pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the GIF of the First Half. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Stephen Strasburg’s Changeup – Washington’s elite starter is proving why he was the No. 1 overall pick in 2009. Just look at this Changeup that moves into another zip code, far away from the bat of Anthony Rizzo.

Noah Syndergaard’s Fastball – After giving up seven hits, two runs and two walks last week, Thor returned to his normal godlike form this week against the Pirates. This scorching Fastball to Andrew McCutchen came in at 101 mph and resulted in one of 11 strikeouts for Syndergaard. (Thanks to Redditors kars4kidz and banana455 for the tips!)

Mike Montgomery’s Curveball – Montgomery ended up walking in the winning run in the 13th, but he had his moments of brilliance. Let’s not forget about this sweeping Curveball that gave Jaff Decker all kinds of trouble.

Arquimedes Caminero’s Splitter – It’s not every day you come across a guy named Arquimedes. It’s also not every day you see a Splitter as filthy as this one that completely throws off Matt Reynolds. (Thanks to Redditor Ryuuken1789 for the tip!)

Chris Sale’s Slider – The White Sox ace is on track to break 100 Ks on the season if he has another solid start. Sale’s breaking stuff can induce whiffs at an alarming rate for opposing batters. Just look at this Slider that moves a country mile inside toward Justin Upton’s back foot.

Clayton Kershaw’s Curveball – It just wouldn’t be a GIF Roundup if we didn’t include a nasty breaking ball from baseball’s best. So without further ado, here’s Kershaw a Curveball that totally drops on Michael Bourn.
