Sit/Start Week 6: Reviewing All Starting Pitcher Matchups From 5/7 – 5/13

Here's a giant table of every starting pitcher matchup for Week 6, telling you which pitchers should get in your lineup or stick on your bench.

Every Sunday here at Pitcher List, I review all expected starting pitcher matchups for the week ahead. There are three labels: StartMaybe, and Sit. Outings marked with a Maybe are circumstantial and dependent on your needs in a 12-teamer, while the other two are self-explanatory. Feel free to question my designations in the comments and we’ll dive into it together.

12 tm H2h pts. Pick 1. Mike Clevinger vs KC (Duffy) or Garret Richards vs MIN (Berrios) this week?

    • Nick Pollack says:

Clev. Points = bigger emphasis on IP and Terry loves letting Clev go deep into his pitch count.

Also getting the Royals instead of the Twins helps.

  2. matt says:

Two start Jon Gray or one start Miles Mikolas in points?

  3. Jeremy says:

Godley with his 4th start of the year against the Dodgers already…so weird.

  4. J.C. Mosier says:

E-Rod moved up a day, facing NYY instead of TOR: still a “start”?

  5. Robert says:

Need one more SP in my H2H QS Points league. I’m looking at:
    German vs OAK
    Faria @BAL
    Gibson @ LAA
    Skaggs vs MIN
    And….. Castillo @ LAD.

This is the streaming spot in my roster, and there are several great streaming options for the first part of next week, so very likely whoever I grab will be dropped.

  6. Brandon Tully says:

Hey Nick! Are we sitting Price and his video game arm tomorrow? Thanks for the advice. I don’t necessarily need the start. I already have Saves, ERA and whip wrapped up for the week but it would be good to compete in QS and Ks. I have 4 other starters the rest of the week. (deGrom, Castillo, Shark, and Paxton.) Chase and Price are my borderlines. My opponent has 5 starts left. I figure I have a little latitude in ERA (currently at 1.5 vs 6+). Thoughts?
