Syndergaard might be the most featured pitcher on the site with an array of pitches that have debilitated batters left and right. He’s been flashing triple digits with his heater through the year, though none may be as satisfying to watch as this pitch to Bryce Harper at 100 mph that just barely grazes the inside corner. Then again, Syndergaard also made us freak out when he displayed a 95 mph Slider to Kendrys Morales during his first game of the season. Getting that kind of late bite at a velocity the heavy majority of pitchers can’t throw is unreal. Two excellent offerings from Thor, but only one can represent the Mets’ stud in the second round.
