Every Saturday here at Pitcher List, I review all expected starting pitcher matchups for the week ahead. There are three labels: Start, Maybe, and Sit. Outings marked with a Maybe are circumstantial and dependent on your needs in a 12-teamer, while the other two are self-explanatory. Feel free to question my designations in the comments and we’ll dive into it together.

I know about your DLH rule, and I usually abide but does it really apply to Odorizzi? He only missed 2 starts and it wasn’t an arm issue so he should be good to go, right? He’s got some juicy matchups this week.
Yeah, it’s one of the most encouraging “maybes” on here, I’m cool with you rolling him out there.
Still, I would imagine some sort of reservations letting him go longer in that first start and he might not be fully good to go by the time the second start comes around.
I have a pretty full schedule this week and may end up benching him for Shawn Kelley or Devenski. Thanks for the quick response.
I’d like to hear your thoughts behind the Wade Miley sit vs CHW. He had an ok day against the hot-hitting NYY today.
It comes down to me not really buying the success of Miley thus far.
That being said, I totally understand rolling with him and I think you’re right in that sitting him against the White Sox might be a little too harsh.
I understand that. Yesterday’s WHIP made me cringe a little.
Vargas is a two start. You have him as a start v the suddenly hot, LHP creamers the White Sox and a maybe v Indians. Both in KC.
Regardless of the recent surge of the White Sox, I still favor the Indians offense as more of a threat. Even with the ChiSox high wOBA against LHP, I don’t think the data is large enough to make it the premier variable.
I’ve moved Gio into my must start til he proves me wrong after he navigated Coors and has had overall great numbers. I slotted him in over Porcello today and ERod @Min. Are there underlying flags with him or is it just the matchup?

Hey Nick, Davies is a maybe today but looking at the Pirates lineup there’s no Harrison, or Cutch, and of course, Marte. It’s not looking too scary, does that make him more of a solid play in search of a w/qs?
If you need it, roll the die. Even with my concerns about Davies, I think it’s worth it.
