Every weekend here at Pitcher List, I review all expected starting pitcher matchups for the week ahead. There are three labels: Start, Maybe, and Sit. Outings marked with a Maybe are circumstantial and dependent on your needs in a 12-teamer, while the other two are self-explanatory. Feel free to question my designations in the comments and we’ll dive into it together.

Here’s the massive table containing every Week 13 start from 6/26 – 7/2:

Supposedly Rodon is starting on Wed vs NYY. How would you rank him? Thanks!

    • Nick Pollack says:

That’s a clear DLH, but he’s getting a boost today. Haven’t decided exactly where just yet, but I’d imagine 50s or so.

Hey Nick, love your stuff, read it every week to figure out my lineup.

Got a lot of pitchers set to start and in my league we cap it at 10 starts/week. Was looking for advice on who to send out there and who to sit, as most of my guys were listed as start on your list.

Need to sit 2: Gio vs. Cubs / Berrios @Bos / Nola @Sea / Pom vs. Min / Stras vs. Cubs / Darvish @Cle / Felix vs. Phi / Price vs. Min / DeGrom vs. Phi / Berrios @KC / Gio @ StL / Pomeranz @ Tor.

Sorry for the long list, probably could’ve/should’ve consolidated it but wanted to give ful picture. Intuition says sit Nola @Sea, Berrios @Bos. Was also considering sitting Price vs. Min, though. Please let me know what you think.

Last little bit: My ESPN says Salazar is set to make a start Saturday. Any validity to this?

    • Nick Pollack says:

I don’t believe Salazar is. It’s a DH so they’ll need someone but I think it’ll be Merritt instead of rushing back Salazar.

Tough call there, my gut says bench Gio vs Cubs and Pom vs MIN.

Hey Nick, this is more of a reliever question, but would you start Roberto Osuna this week given everything that’s been going on with him? He did pitch the 9th in Sunday’s game and struck out the side. Other options I have are Diaz and Oh.
