It’s not perfect and will be far from the actual results at the end of the day, though it should give guidance for those questioning who to slot into your lineup on a given day.
There is a second table for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.

Hi Nick, love all that you guys do here at PL! Thanks so much for all your hard work every day to get us the best content possible. Just a quick note/question about the daily SP rankings. It might be too much work, but I was wondering if you have thought about doing a 1-10 ranking like Max Freeze implemented in the weekly Sit/Start article? I suppose we could simply cross reference Max’s article, but I think it would be neat to get your thoughts on how confident you feel in the particular pitchers pitching on a given day. Thanks man!
Would you really consider starting Canning against the Dodgers in an AL ballpark? They have the 4th most runs in the league without the DH. That scares me to death.
