Here are your morning rankings for today’s starting pitcher options.
It’s not perfect and will be far from the actual results at the end of the day, though it should give guidance for those questioning who to slot into your lineup on a given day.
There is a second table for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.
Pitchers highlighted in yellow = Possible streaming options.
FS = False Starter where there is an assumed opener actually starting the game.
Red = Postponed.

Hey Nick, can you combine these rankings with your sit/start recommendations?
Concur. This would be helpful. Sometimes a sit/start “maybe” is ranked ahead of a “start,” and it’s not clear if something has changed since sit/start was published.
I think that the difference is that Max and not Nick is writing the sit/start column. Should they get on the same page? I would just take it for what it is. Two opinions given in two different formats. Last week, Max rated Mikolas a “sit” and Velasquez a “maybe.” Then Nick ranked Mikolas ahead of Velasquez. I weighed these against my own opinion and went with Mikolas.
Right. Get that completely. And the perspective of two different writers is a good thing. I’m just asking for apples-to-apples (i.e., where is Nick’s line between “start” and “maybe” on each day?).
