Here are your morning rankings for today’s starting pitcher options.
It’s not perfect and will be far from the actual results at the end of the day, though it should give guidance for those questioning who to slot into your lineup on a given day.
There is a second table for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.
Pitchers highlighted in yellow = Possible streaming options.
FS = False Starter where there is an assumed opener actually starting the game.
Red = Postponed.

Hey Nick,
You seem to be more confident in Musgrove than anyone else. Is his ranking of 10 based on the lack of other options or a reflection of his true potential vs a loaded Dodgers lineup? What’s your expectation of his line tonight? Thanks!
Hey Nick,
Thanks for posting these, always save my butt especially when I mismanage starts throughout the week and it comes down to a crunch on Sunday.
I can only start 2/3 of Heaney, Woodruff, and Turnbull. I was leaning towards benching Heaney since it’s his first start back, but he does draw a more favorable matchup compared to woodruff. Is that the main reason why hes slotted 3 above woodruff? Is there something else Im missing? Who would you bench?
Nevermind. Paddack scratched, all three go
I had an interesting thought the other day when watching a “2 run single” v Berrios – a weak GB just flipped through an overshift. What if we counted the e-10s as the errors by the analytics department? I would imagine that the hits created by the analytics department often exceeds the total number of errors committed by the entire team. We don’t really call anyone out or attribute the mistakes to anyone or anything. You can tell that the announcers are generally scared to draw any attention to it, but that blame should go somewhere.
