Ranking All of Today And Tomorrow’s SP Streamers – 9/26 & 9/27

Nick Pollack ranks every SP Streamer for today and tomorrow.

Here are your morning rankings for today’s starting pitcher options.

It’s not perfect and will be far from the actual results at the end of the day, though it should give guidance for those questioning who to slot into your lineup on a given day.

There is a second table for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.

Color Legend:

Green = Blindly Start
Blue = Likely start, comes with some risk
Gray = Neutral start, decent but be cautious
Yellow = Sit, but has upside if you need it
Red = Do. Not. Start.

    I am in 2nd place but close (i.e within 1 good start of the leader) I have to drop two of the following:
    Deivi Garcia – has given up 4 HRs in the last two starts
    Voth – starts Sunday (could wait to see how I do on Saturday)
    Boyd
    Dunn

    HRs are a big negative in our scoring

    • Nick Pollack says:

      Drop Voth and it’s close between Dunn and Boyd. Slightly safer with Dunn, but Boyd has much more upside.

      Deivi is the best option of those choices.

    I know Bundy is blue, but man…he has NOT been good. How confident are you in him today, even if Dodgers roll with a B-squad?

    • Nick Pollack says:

      Yeah, that’s a good point. I hadn’t shifted Bundy since my assessment *before* his most recent start, but man, he really looked bad last time out – high fastball usage with its worst velocity all year. Weird.

      I am willing to put that aside, though – one start is not a death sentence – and I think you still roll with Bundy if you roster him.

  3. Need one last starter? says:

    Hey Nick.

    Would you rather start Musgrove today, Lugo tomorrow, or Montas tomorrow? Extra points for quality starts and wins.

    You’re help would be really awesome! Keep up the amazing work!

    • Nick Pollack says:

      I think I’d go with Lugo tomorrow. Musgrove today would be #2.

      Good luck and thanks for the kind words! I hope it helps.

  4. Ben says:

    Civale still that high with news of his pitch count? I’m in a H2H QS league and think I’m benching; highly unlikely he gets a win or QS given they’re going to keep him ready to work in relief as early as next Tuesday.

    • Nick Pollack says:

      Whoa, thanks for that Ben! Didn’t realize he’d be on a Pitch Count.

      They’ll want him available for relief on Tuesday, so I’d imagine that would be sixty pitches or so. Definitely not as high! I’d be benching if you were looking for a QS.

  5. Jim says:

    No confidence in Tucker Davidson making his debut against the Red Sox today?
