However, in what will become a trend for Tomlin’s pitches, hitters teed off on his cutter when they made contact, posting an ISO of .276, which was actually the lowest of all of his pitches. Overall, Tomlin allowed 3.2 HR/9, which ultimately knocked him out of the starting rotation.
