The lefty Skoglund isn’t a hard thrower, with his fastball sitting just under 90 mph. Similar to rest of his pitches, his fastball was hit hard, allowing a .392 wOBA (.384 xwOBA).
Skoglund’s fourth pitch, his slider returned an abyssmal 3% swinging-strike rate, and while it showed a solid 39.4% zone rate, it had just a 15% chase rate.
