In this newest installment, Nick Pollack (@PitcherList) and Alex Fast (@AlexFast8) talk about the pitchers at 31-40 pitchers on Nick’s top 100 pitchers. Nick makes some solid cases for interesting, albeit volatile, starters, including Dinelson Lamet, Jameson Taillon, and more.

Nick,
If you were in a shallow 6-team league roto that uses QS and a 1500 IP limit, would you reach for a top 5 SP early in the draft or focus on hitters? I have first pick in a snake. Will have picks 12 and 13. Bauer and Darvish would probably be available in the 2nd round.
C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3 OF, 2 UTIL
3 SP, 2 P, 2 RP
4 Bench
In your situation, I’d get whichever I preferred of the top 5 studs, then get two SP at the turn. In such a small league, the pitching talent has the harsher cliff vs. hitters.
I think you guys forgot that Trent Grisham exists in your outfield ranks wouldn’t let me comment there
Hey Jesse, thanks for letting me know about the commenting issue, we’ll have that back soon for the rankings articles.
Grisham is ranked at #21 in the outfielder rankings.
