The most interesting pitch I have seen Berrios throw this year was his third pitch of his first start of the season. It was a 1-1 change-up that he threw to Carlos Santana on 5/13. Berrios has been succeeding off of that FB/Slurve combo but that change has potential if it can be a consistent pitch. I haven’t seen him throw that pitch as effectively since that one. I mention this because you are the GIF guys and that would be a good one. I think his long-term success will hinge on whether he can throw that pitch consistently. That would be his answer to lefties.
