Tanaka going today. What are your thoughts on him today?

  2. The Kraken says:

Looking forward to the offseason lists.

I have said it before, but that gambler’s fallacy cuts both ways. Betting on red, just because it has been black ten times in a row is the same thing as expecting it to be black the next time. Each event is an independent trial.

  3. Cubblue1 says:

Nick- looks like Gausman may get the start this Sunday at TB. Do you have any hesitation to start him?

  4. Fingman says:

Do you like Lugo vs H Alvarez (Phi) at home? He’s been doin nice in September and his peripherals look pretty good too. I checked Phillies team batting stats for away and they’re in the middle of the pack in terms of wOBA, K% and BB%. Think he can get the W and some Ks?

    • Nick Pollack says:

It’s always possible against the Phils, though I don’t believe much in Lugo himself.

      If you’re Win/Strikeout chasing, he’s not a bad play.
