Homers for Mom!

Sunday MLB honored mothers all around the world. Their sons honored them by homering…a lot. The Rays and Yankees game had 4 home runs alone, including a grand slam by Taylor Walls, putting the Rays on top.

Meanwhile, across the country, Mookie Betts helped the Dodgers cap off their sweep of their rival Padres. He honored his mom on his trip around the bases in the bottom of the third.

Cleat Tributes to Moms

Mother’s Day always allows players to show their love for mom. Harrison Bader sported pink eye “black,” while other players paid tribute to their moms on their cleats. Here are a few gems from Sunday!

Best Moments From Yesterday

Blue Jays Finish a Sweep

Catcher Danny Jansen helped the Jays take care of business against Atlanta on Sunday. The Jays entered the bottom of the ninth down 5-4. Their offense was able to load the bases, and with 2 outs Danny Jansen took care of the rest with a walk-off single. The Jays will hope to continue their hot streak, as division rivals Yankees come to town.

Benches Clear in Colorado

Jake Bird was looking for a bit of trouble yesterday. And let’s just say Harper was not a fan of it. While we don’t know what was said, Bird seemed to taunt the Phillies dugout and Harper led his team into a heated scuffle.

Injuries & Transactions

San Francisco Giants activated SS Brandon Crawford from the 10-day injured list.

Colorado Rockies placed RHP Ryan Feltner on the 15-day injured list. Skull fracture.
