Mike Foltynewicz’s Fastball – Playoff baseball always shows the emotions running high. And why shouldn’t they? Getting out of a bases-loaded jam in the first inning with a two-seamer with that kind of heat on it should get everyone excited.

Jeremy Jeffress‘ Curveball – Jeffress did not have a good outing on Thursday. At all. But his hammer curveball still had its moments, namely on this offering to Trevor Story.

Corbin Burnes‘ Slider – Speaking of Trevor Story, here he is getting victimized by Milwaukee’s bullpen yet again. This time it was rookie Corbin Burnes, who brought his hard, tight slider on the outside black. Woof.

Max Fried’s Curveball – Atlanta brought out all the young arms on Thursday. Max Fried brought his hammer with him, here planting one on the outside black to Yasmani Grandal to end the fifth.

Adam Ottavino’s Fastball – Ottavino once again painted the black with his two-seam fastball, here getting a big swing through from the hot-hitting Lorenzo Cain.

Hyun-Jin Ryu’s Curveball – Gotta reward Ryu for having the strongest starting performance of the night, throwing seven scoreless innings and striking out eight. His big hook was solid against lefties all night – as evidenced here.
