Michael Wacha’s Cutter – It was another night of prime Wacha last night, and his Cutter was darting all over the plate. It’s nearly a Slider with how much horizontal ride it gets against Hunter Pence at a blistering 90 MPH.

Brian Duensing’s Curveball – The Twins took a tough loss in New York last night, but Duensing got a big strikeout against Brian McCann with this front-door Curveball that froze the Yankee catcher in the box.

Sonny Gray’s Slider – Gray also has an elite Curveball in his repertoire, but his Slider has been getting most of the action as of late, and for good reason. Just look at how much depth it gets as it sends J. J. Hardy back to the dugout.

Jeremy Hellickson’s Curveball – Hellickson had a great night against the Pirates and escaped with the Win. His bender did some excellent work as it took down Aramis Ramirez in the first inning.

Chris Heston’s Curveball – While he couldn’t secure the Win, Heston left with a no-decision after allowing only 1 ER across 4.2 innings. His stat line can thank this big hook that struck out Kolten Wong in the fourth and escaping a tough jam.
