Luis Severino’s slider – Severino got roughed up yesterday, giving up six earned runs and 11 hits over five innings, marking his worst start of the year. He did have eight strikeouts though, including this nasty slider to Joey Wendle.

Ross Stripling’s curveball – Stripling didn’t have a great outing yesterday, giving up five runs over 4.2 innings, but he did have six strikeouts, including this knuckle curveball with some ridiculous drop on it.

Daniel Poncedeleon’s changeup – Poncedeleon came out for his MLB debut and absolutely dominated, tossing seven innings of shutout ball and flashing this beautiful changeup.

Hunter Wood’s curveball – Wood was the “starter” for the Tampa Bay Rays on a bullpen day, and while he only pitched two innings, he showed off this nice curveball with some major 12-6 drop on it.

Kevin Gausman’s slider – Gausman had a rough outing against the Boston Red Sox, giving up five earned runs (on just three hits though) over 4.2 innings pitched. He only had two strikeouts, but one of them was this nice slider to get Mookie Betts.

Rick Porcello’s curveball – Porcello was excellent against the Baltimore Orioles yesterday, pitching six innings of shutout ball and striking out six. Here, he makes Trey Mancini flinch with a curveball that lands right on the edge of the strike zone.
