Finally, we have two pitches with crazy good lateral movement square off in what may be the hardest vote of the tournament. First, there’s Lance McCullers’ Changeup that has a life of its own as it ate up Trey Mancini despite missing its spot by a good foot or two. There’s also Miguel Castro’s heavy Fastball that not only has nasty bend at 98mph, but depth as well, escaping underneath Mikie Mahtook’s bat for the well-earned strikeout. Both offerings are deadly, but only one can move on.
