Kris Medlen’s Fastball – After Johnny Cueto struggled mightily, Medlen came in and despite allowing a quick HR, he settled in for five solid innings of relief work. His pitches had the most movement of any hurler in last night’s game, including this comeback Fastball to Russell Martin for strike one.

Kris Medlen’s Curveball – His second pitch after entering the game was this big hook to Ryan Goins who couldn’t handle the big drop from the 78 MPH Curveball.

Mark Lowe’s Fastball – So this pitch may not actually be a strike, but it was close enough to induce an Alex Gordon punchout as Lowe tossed a shutout inning in relief for the Jays.

Marcus Stroman’s Curveball – Stroman hasn’t been particularly sharp lately, and he allowed 11 hits and 4 ER in six innings last night. He relied on his breaking pitches a bit, including this curveball to Mike Moustakas to get ahead in the count.

Marcus Stroman’s Fastball – It’s no secret Stroman also throws a lively Fastball, and this back-door heater to Salvador Perez gave us a great look at its deadly movement.
