Kenta Maeda’s Changeup – King Kenta has been absolutely rolling in his past three starts, compiling nine strikeouts in each outing and lowering his ERA to 3.13 on the season. This Changeup to the struggling Eric Hosmer shows why this has been Maeda’s best stretch since entering the league.

Chris Sale’s Fastball – Just when you’re expecting us to show you yet another Chris Sale Slider in the Nastiest Pitches…Bam! A triple-digit heater freezes you on the corner. How do you like them apples?

Sonny Gray’s Curveball- You don’t know what you’re going to get from Sonny Gray on any given night, but you can still admire this hook to get Joey Rickard. Gray had himself a night, pitching six clean innings with eight strikeouts to show for it.

Alex Blandino’s Knuckleball – This pitch has been all over the internet, and rightfully so. I never thought I would include a pitch from a position player on this list, but Alex Blandino’s filthy Knuckleball ain’t so bland after all.

Jacob deGrom’s Slider – What more is there to say about what Jacob deGrom has been doing this year? This 92 mph Slider paints the corner for the strikeout and deGrom just keeps on grooving. I hope he finds himself in a winning situation soon.

Felipe Vazquez’s Fastball – This 99 mph Fastball from Felipe Vazquez looks so effortless coming out of his hand. Felipe has been lights out recently, as his last earned run came on June 13.

Sergio Romo’s Slider – Sergio Romo certainly isn’t in his prime anymore, but you still have to appreciate the movement on his frisbee Sliders. This 77 mph waffle has James McCann out of sorts.

Lifelong Dodger fan. Left the famous 2004 Steve Finley walk-off homer game in the ninth inning to clinch the division because his Giants fan cousin was late for work. Would've stayed, but I was nine.

  1. Steve says:

How was Blandino’s knuckleball not a unanimous selection? Shame on all you voters!

  2. Morgan says:

The fact that Sale still has 100mph in the tank after all these years is mind blowing.
