Justin Verlander’s Curveball – Verlander was the workhorse the Astros needed on Friday, helping secure a Game 7 in Houston. The Curveball that made everyone freak out was this deuce to Todd Frazier that induced one of the worst swings you’ll see this postseason.

Luis Severino’s Fastballs – Even though he was handed the loss, it’s not as if Severino pitched poorly on Friday. Check out these back-to-back Fastballs from the young ace as he blew the ball past possible AL MVP Jose ALtuve with 99+ mph heat and a touch of life.

Lance McCullers Jr.’s Curveball – McCullers was outstanding as he shut out the Yankees for the final four innings of Saturday’s pivotal Game 7. His Knuckle-Curveball was the savior and did all of the damage, including punching out Didi Gregorious with this filthy bender.

Brad Peacock’s Fastball – It’s no secret Peacock gets plenty of ride on his Fastball, though he was able to sneak the pitch into the zone to freeze Gary Sanchez on Friday evening. It’s possible the catcher was looking for a breaking ball, but the execution and horizontal movement make this a pretty pitch regardless.

Tommy Kahnle’s Changeup – Kahnle ran into trouble Saturday evening, though his Changeup had its moments, like getting Jose Altuve to whiff as the ball fell across the entire plate.

David Robertson’s Curveball – The Yankees turned to Robertson to hold the Astros in the final two innings of Saturday’s affair and did so with the help of his fantastic hook. Watch Brian McCann struggle to resist the pitch as it fell to his back foot for the strikeout.
