Jorge Lopez’s Slider

Jorge Lopez tossed himself a gem on Friday, throwing six scoreless innings with no walks and five strikeouts. This first-inning strikeout of Starlin Castro had the veteran infielder quoting his favorite Post Malone song. Wow.

Domingo German’s Fastball

It wasn’t the strongest outing for right-hander Domingo German against Boston, as he gave up five earned runs in 4.1 innings. However, he did paint this wicked two-seamer heater just on the outside black, freezing All-Star Xander Bogaerts.

Brendan McKay’s Slider

Blue Jays rookie infielder Bo Bichette may be hitting nearly everything in sightbut there’s a reason it’s only nearly everything. Brendan McKay’s nasty hammer got Bichette looking like his old man, swinging at everything in sight. McKay struck out seven in just 3.2 innings of work.

Miles Mikolas‘ Curveball

Miles Mikolas has not been the stud arm that so many were hoping for this season, but he’s had his moments. Yesterday was one of those moments, as he fanned seven over five innings. This ridiculously nasty hammer got an embarrassing swing/golf hack from Josh BellWoof.

Michael Pineda’s Slider

The ultimate Cherry Bomb, Michael Pineda, had an outstanding outing against the Indians yesterdayfanning 10 in six innings of work. Here he dropped his vertical slider all over Roberto Perez for strike three.

Zach Davies‘ Changeup

Zach Davies had himself a solid outing against the Cubs, fanning four in five innings and only surrendering one run. Addison Russell didn’t have a chance against this filthy changeup with arm side run that just fell off the table. Truly nasty.
