Jordan Hicks’ Fastball vs. Noah Syndergaard’s Fastball

Jordan Hicks' Fastball vs. Noah Syndergaard's Fastball.

There’s nothing quite like hard heat with late, subtle movement to confound hitters that don’t know any better. First there’s newcomer Jordan Hickstossing a casual 100mph with late drop that is straight up unfair. However, Noah Syndergaard earned a whiff on a 97mph fastball that starts along the outside corner only to fall well off the plate. It’s the battle of late break and it’s not an easy decision.
