Jon Lester’s Cutter – It’s one of those rare days where we have five different types of pitches featured today, starting with this back-door Cutter from Lester. When he’s dealing, this pitch is at the forefront of his repertoire, and it punched out Khris Davis to escape the fifth inning.

Noah Syndergaard’s Curveball – It wasn’t the flashiest of Syndergaard’s starts, but he got the job done to seal the Win during a blowout. Here Kyle Parker couldn’t handle a big hook to start the fifth.

Wade Davis‘ Fastball – Davis has been a bit shaky lately including allowing a pair of runs last night, but this 98 MPH Fastball right on the black sure makes it tough for Conor Gillaspie to notice.

Stephen Strasburg’s Changeup – Strasburg has been solid in his first two starts back from the DL, and he struck out a tough batter with this Changeup that bores into Buster Posey’s hip.

Ervin Santana’s Slider – Santana struggled mightily against the Rangers, but this Slider to Chris Gimenez was a brief moment of bliss.
