Gerrit Cole’s Slider – 92 mile per hour sliders are just unfair. When Cole can place it right off the plate inside, well that’s really unfair. Cole struck out eight in six innings of one run ball.

Jose Berrios’ Curveball – Berrios tossed a complete game with ten strikeouts against the White Sox on Thursday. His curveball was electric as usual, here sweeping across the zone to fan Jose Abreu. Nasty.

Tyler Glasnow’s Slider – Glasnow’s slider was headed straight for the bottom of the strike zone before dive bombing down into the dirt. At 87 miles per hour, that’s nearly unhittable.

Miles Mikolas‘ Curveball – Mikolas and his curveball have been all over these posts this year, and for good reason. Check out this nasty bender that breaks down and out of the zone, getting J.T. Riddle fishing.

Lou Trivino’s Fastball – 98 with run like that is no fun, and having it come right in on your hands is just dirty. Salvador Perez didn’t stand a chance.

Jordan Hicks‘ Slider – When Hicks consistently brings 101 mile per hour cheese, it can be pretty tough to lay off the slider. Especially when it’s headed for the base of the strike zone, only to dive down last minute. Filthy stuff here.

Look at the reaction of the lady who is sitting above the “Energy Transfer” billboard on the Gerrit Cole gif – pretty hilarious!
