Every morning we review the five best pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the “GIF of the Week”. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Garrett Richards‘ Curveball – Richards has one of the biggest hooks in the majors, and we got a pretty look at his huge Curveball in slow-motion last night as he sent down Scott Schebler in the eighth.

Jacob deGrom’s Changeup – It was a great pitching duel Wednesday night in Washington, and deGrom barely edged out Strasburg for the Win. The Hair normally dominates with his Fastball, but this Changeup under Ian Desmond’s hands made us whistle.

Stephen Strasburg’s Curveball – It was a season high 13 strikeout evening for Strasburg and his Curveball was public enemy number one. He struck out Yoenis Cespedes in the sixth with this heavy hook that completely fell off the table.

Carlos Martinez’s Slider – Cmart collected eight strikeouts through a grueling five innings where the Cubs continously put the young pitcher in jams. This Slider to Chris Coghlan was a beauty, and sent the Cubs left-fielder back to the dugout.

Tom Koehler’s Curveball – Not too much love is given to Koehler in these roundups, but the New Rochelle native made opposing pitcher Ariel Pena flinch in the batter’s box with this mighty hook for the backwards K.
