Felix Hernandez’s Changeup – The king has been looking like his old self in September, and put on a show fanning eight batters across eight shutout innings yesterday. He struck out many with his patented 90 MPH Changeup, including this fine specimen to Will Venable.

Jorge De La Rosa’s Curveball – While it wasn’t a sparkling afternoon for the Rockies’ lefty, De La Rosa made some pretty pitches as he put away Padre batters, like this looping hook to Jedd Gyorko.

Jorge De La Rosa’s Changeup – De La Rosa also featured a solid Changeup through the game, including one that fell off the table to Wil Myers.

A.J. Burnett’s Fastball – Yesterday marked the return of Burnett from the DL, and though he didn’t snag the Win, he was effective through five innings. Here he spots a Fastball to Martin Maldonado on the outside corner for the backwards K.

Tyson Ross‘ Slider – Ross managed to avoid walking a single batter yesterday, featuring a solid WHIP of just 0.57. He also accumulated six strikeouts, mainly with his Slider like this pitch that drops out of the zone to Wilin Rosario.
