Every morning we review the five best pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the “GIF of the Week”. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Evan Scribner’s Curveball – Scribner should be getting some more love in these Roundups, as his Curveball is oh-so pretty to watch. It was too much for Kevin Pillar’s bat as well, and it decided to escape to the backstop after this 1-1 hook. (Thanks to @pand75 for the tip!)

Carlos Martinez’s Slider – Despite allowing three Pirates cross home, Martinez looked pretty solid through eight innings of work as he struck out eight and walked none. He got a bit out in the third as he fanned Andrew McCutchen on a big Slider off the plate. (Thanks to @stlCupofJoe for the tip!)

Aaron Sanchez’s Fastball – He’s been demoted to the pen, but his Fastball is still as luscious as ever. Here he nips the inside corner with a 96 MPH front-door Fastball that left Coco Crisp shaking his head. (Thanks to Reddit users tomstoms and GRiZZY19 for the tip!)

Steven Wright’s Knuckleball – Last week we saw one of the best pitches we’ve seen all year via Wright, and his Knuckle had its moments Tuesday night as well. Notice how this pitch ends up in the middle of the plate, yet catcher Blake Swihart is so confused that the pitch his him square in the chest. (Thanks to Reddit users vddcrf and ak_kitaq for the tip!)

Drew Hutchison’s Changeup – It’s too bad that the slow-motion camera wasn’t able to catch the bottom of this pitch, but this Hutchison Changeup was as nasty as they come. The ball falls off the plate in a blink of an eye. (Thanks to Reddit user BringerofRain93 for the tip!)

Madison Bumgarner’s Slider – Sure, it was against opposing pitcher Scott Kazmir who has barely picked up a bat this season, but this Slider was a classic knee-buckler that is just so satisfying to watch. (Thanks to Reddit user Dranzogger for the tip!)
