Dellin Betances’ Curveball – Last night featured a tough matchup of the Blue Jays and Yankees, featuring many tense moments and excellent pitches. Betances came in to finish the 7th inning against the mighty Jose Bautista and got the job done with this fine hook. (Thanks to @MaxEPo and Redditors /u/Colossal89 & /u/puncturewound and for the tip!)
Noah Syndergaard‘s Slider – We could have picked tons of pitches from Thor’s marvelous outing against the Fish, but this 93 MPH Slider to Marcel Ozuna was the perfect reminder that he is simply from another planet.
Jose Fernandez‘s Changeup – JoFer struggled mightily early – especially in the shadow of Syndergaard’s dominance – but he collected himself and left with a No Decision. He made us not forget how deep his repertoire is with this beautiful fading Changeup to Lucas Duda.
Corey Kluber‘s Curveball – The first six innings were a breeze for Kluber as his entire arsenal was on point. Just look at how much movement his Curveball gets as it travels from one side of the plate to the other. (Thanks to Redditor /u/NextLevelFantasy for the tip!)
David Phelps‘ Fastball – Phelps was called upon to hold the Mets at bay in the later innings, and he shut the door on Alejandro De Aza with this perfectly executed frontdoor Fastball. (Thanks to Redditor /u/destinybond for the tip!)
